$500 offered for return of stolen letterman jacket with sentimental pin inside
While Mentor High School girls' soccer team was in town Sept. 29 to play the Cleveland Heights Tigers (Mentor won 2-1), someone apparently broke into the Mentor school bus. Among the items taken was a Mentor letter jacket belonging to one of the team members. The parents of the girl who lost the jacket are offering a $500 reward for its return—with a condition. Inside one of the pockets was an angel pin—given to the girl by her now-deceased grandmother. That pin must still be with the jacket.
The jacket is red with white sleeves, and has the name "Samantha" on the waist band. If someone wants to return the coat, they are asked to text or call 440-479-4651. The reward is specifically for the angel pin.
