Nancy Dietrich appointed to Board of Zoning Appeals

Nancy Dietrich, former Cleveland Heights City Council member, was appointed into the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) at the Cleveland Heights City Council meeting on June 18. Council members voted for Dietrich to fill an empty spot, effective immediately.

Dietrich was a council member for 12 years. She was elected in 1997 and served until 2010.

BZA alternate member Denise McCray moved to Cincinnati and vacated the seat. Dietrich is now the alternate.

Mayor Ed Kelley said that the city council is working on an application process for a new city council member to fill the spot vacated by Phyllis Evan. He also said that he expects that the RFQ (Request for Quote) for a firm to lead the process to hire a new city manager will go out by the end of this week.
