High school courses

Jeffery Talbert, assistant superintendent, presented recommendations for new high school courses that are aligned with Pathways for the 2011-2012 school year.

Freshman Experience

Currently the Freshman Experience is separate, but will be included in each small school.

Dual credit

Students in the REAL small school taking Advance Placement (AP) courses will be able to earn dual credit from the high school and from Kent State University.

AP test

Students taking AP courses must sit for the AP tests. At present only 30 percent of AP students take the tests.
