The CH-UH School District invites parents and community members to Middle School Parent and Community Feedback Night at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, in the Cleveland Heights High School Social Room.
Do you have opinions about the Cleveland Heights-University Heights middle schools that you’d like to share? Have you ever found yourself thinking, “If I were the superintendent, I would . . . ”?
Now is your chance to share those thoughts and ideas, and help improve the public schools.
The CH-UH City School District invites parents and community members to attend a Middle School Parent and Community Feedback Night at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Cleveland Heights High School Social Room.
The evening will feature large- and small-group roundtable discussions to give parents and community members an opportunity to share their thoughts about the strengths and weaknesses of the district's middle schools, and brainstorm ways to improve them.
Assistant Superintendent Jeff Talbert; Allison Byrd, coordinator of educational services; and Angee Shaker, director of communications and community engagement, will lead the roundtable discussions. Topics of focus will include: student enrollment, pathway focus, schedules (block math & ELA), course offerings, and special programs (MSSP, AVID, MSAN).
"We hope many parents and community members will join us in these important conversations. We look forward to hearing their thoughts and working with them," said Talbert.
