Heights student invited onstage with jazz band

Heights Student Featured at Tri-C Jazz Concert Encore

Heights High senior Geoffrey Golden (L) and Cleveland native Dominick Farinacci at the Nov. 16 Young Visiting Artists Concert at Tri-C. Farinacci invited Golden to join him on stage for the concert encore. Golden and vocalist Charenee Wade performed a call and response scat piece. Farinacci is the resident artist with the Young Visiting Artists program and brings several other jazz musicians to Heights High for periodic jazz workshops. Farinacci currently lives in New York City. The concert marked the official Cleveland CD release of Farinacci’s new recording, "The Dawn of Goodbye."
