Tonight's Heights High football game postponed
We’ve just learned some terrible news for our Tiger family. Last evening CHHS Assistant Football Coach Mario Houston suffered a stroke at his home. He is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Coach Houston previously coached at Euclid High School, tonight’s scheduled opponent. Because students and coaches from both teams will need time to process this sad news, tonight’s football game has been postponed. A make-up date and time will be determined later today by agreement of both schools, and publicized to the community. The junior varisty football game is cancelled for tomorrow.
Coach Jeff Rotsky, athletic director Kristin Hughes, and counselors are meeting with team members today, and providing support as needed.
Please keep Coach Houston and his family in your thoughts.
