Community dialogue about youth issues set for July 13
Heights Community Congress, in partnership with Heights Libraries, will host a community dialogue to talk about youth issues in the community. The event, “Community Solutions: How do we bridge the gap between perception and reality,” will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, at the Lee Road Library, 2345 Lee Road. It is free and open to the public.
“The recent incident at the Coventry Street Fair in Cleveland Heights has sparked reactions that cover a broad range of emotions,” said Kasey Greer, executive director of Heights Community Congress. “The response from community leaders, city officials, business owners and the general public has led us to ask the seemingly obvious question: How do we work with youth to create a positive and productive environment for all us?”
“HCC is looking forward to providing an opportunity for members of the community to express themselves, as well as hear from others, with the intent of moving forward to positive and constructive solutions for the community,” added Greer.
