Community meeting to discuss Music Settlement's plan for Coventry site to be Feb. 17
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District and The Music Settlement will provide an update on plans for the former Coventry Elementary School site at a community meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd. (at Mayfield Road).
This is the second in a series of community meetings. The agreement between the CH-UH schools, The Music Settlement, and the City of Cleveland Heights will allow the Settlement to develop a state-of-the-art early childhood learning center at the former Coventry Elementary School site. The plan features community-shared spaces and arts education programming.
The meeting is open to the public.
A panel of leaders from the school district, The Music Settlement, and the community will be available to answer questions about the partnership. Speakers will include CH-UH Superintendent Doug Heuer; Charles D. Lawrence, president of The Music Settlement; Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley; Maureen Ischay, director of development for The Music Settlement; and Steve Shergalis, director of business services for CH-UH schools.
