Heights resident wins game show

Alex Hamberger of University Heights and his partner Kim Sullivan of Cleveland, were the winningest team on Got*City Game!, a local web-based game show established last November by Barbara Oney and T.L. Champion, two greater Cleveland marketing executives.

Hamberger and Sullivan competed successfully against two other local teams, by answering trivia questions about the Cleveland area and competing in various competitions like riding a mechanical bull and other silliness. The show, all 15 episodes, was filmed in Cleveland neighborhoods.

Got*City Game! is truly a local effort with Tri-C students filming all the episodes and many local sponsors providing prizes. Unfortunately for the Heights, the first place prize is an apartment in Tremont! At least Alex isn’t leaving the Cleveland area and hopefully Got*City Game! will help recruit other young people to greater Cleveland. To watch the festivities go to http://www.gotcitygame.tv.
