Synchronized swimming

Have a child that loves the water, but doesn't want to swim competitively? Do you know someone who loves to dance, and is open to new ideas? Have you considered synchronized swimming? Though not widely known, the Tri-City Synchronized Swimming Team is the only regionally- based synchronized swimming team in the area. The team is into its second year, and last year was a roaring success, culminating with a show at the beginning of May.

The team is currently comprised of kids, fourth grade and up, who live in the Heights area. It's coached by two women who also live in the Heights. The kids attend public and private schools and faithfully attend practice because of their love of synchronized swimming.

The Tri-City Team learns to master a variety of synchronized swimming stunts, how to synchronize these moves, and develop and perform routines. If your child can can comfortably swim the length of the pool, has an interest in art, dance, or the water, then please contact Scott Wachter at wachter@nacs.net or call 216-932-5964.

Scott Wachter is involved with different community activities in the Heights. His daughters were involved with the Tri-City Synchronized Swimming team last year.
