Latest News Releases
Community news is spelled Y-O-U.
The newest citizen media project in town is getting off the ground and we're calling all citizens from University Heights and Cleveland Heights to lend a hand. This is an all-volunteer newspaper and we hope you'll get involved.
We need your stories, your ideas, your help. The Heights Observer is looking for people, ages 1-100, to send in their news stories, their features, group information and press releases, photography and illustrations. Want to write about your neighborhood? Have an issue that bears scrutiny? Hosting an event that the world needs to know about? Send it in! We need people with professional writing background to help edit (an online job). We need delivery people for the print edition beginning April. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or amateur, our editorial staff will be glad to have you. The Heights Observer aims to support an involved, informed citizenry by cultivating citizen journalists and neighborhood news to make a stronger Cleveland Heights and University Heights.
