Habitat Restoration at Lower Lake

Join Friends of Lower Lake on Sunday mornings to remove invasive plant species and replace them with natives. Bring gloves, water in a reusable container, insect repellent, and a couple of your favorite garden tools. Wear long pants.
Friends of Lower Lake is a volunteer project of the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, a 501c3 community-based non-profit.
Lower Shaker Lake is a park managed jointly by the cities of Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights.

Canoe Club site on Lower Shaker Lake behind the wood chip pile on South Park Boulevard.

Tour of Cemetery--Lolly the Trolley

Starting at the Garfield Memorial, board Lolly the Trolley and sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape and history of LVC. Tour allows time to visit the Garfield Memorial before or after the tour. In addition, a stop is made at the Wade Memorial Chapel. Reservations required. $20.00 per person, Srs. age 62 and older, Veterans, and 1st Responders $18.00, Children 3-12 $10.00, under 3 years old FREE.

Lake View Cemetery is partnering again with Cleveland’s premier jazz venue Nighttown and Jim Wadsworth Productions to bring six of Ohio’s most exciting bands to our summer concert series on the lawn of the Garfield Memorial. Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic! Sponsored in part by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and Ohio Arts Council.
