2017 Cleveland Luncheon Benefit Event United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

The Cleveland Luncheon provides an opportunity for friends and supporters to learn more about the Museum’s urgent work to keep Holocaust memory alive in a constantly changing world.

Peter Hayes, professor of history and German and Theodore Zev Weiss Holocaust Educational Foundation Professor of Holocaust Studies (emeritus) at Northwestern University and chairman of the Museum’s Academic Committee

Copies of Hayes’s new book, "Why? Explaining the Holocaust", will be available for sale and for signing.

Ratchneewan Ross, Ph.D. RN, associate professor and director of International Initiatives in the College of Nursing at Kent State University, born and raised in Thailand where parents instilled the importance of a strong education and a respect for other people, and when she contemplated a career as an engineer they proposed nursing “because you really like helping people.” She recently was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
