Sharon Isbin will perform for the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Sharon Isbin is the winner of two Grammy awards and Guitar Player Magazine’s “Best Classical Guitarist.” She has appeared as a soloist with over 170 orchestras and has given sold-out performances in the world’s finest halls. Isbin has appeared on the cover of over 45 magazines and her documentary Troubadour has been viewed by millions of people on over 200 television station in the U.S.

This performance will be Isbin’s Cleveland debut and she will be performing alongside her protege, Cleveland-native Colin Davin. Davin is a Professor of Guitar at both Cleveland Institute of Music and Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and has become one of classical guitar’s rising stars. "In the not-too-distant future it’s the age of artificial intelligence, and 85-year-old Marjorie has a handsome new companion programmed to recount the distant, fading memories of her life. This incredible new play and Pulitzer Prize finalist explores what it means to be human in the digital age."

MARJORIE PRIME features Dorothy Silver, Derdriu Ring*, Steve Sawicki, and Nicholas Chokan+.

The play runs 90 minutes with no intermission.
