Wood Trim and Moulding
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
If you’ve been thinking about adding some flair to your house, or just want to replace the old wooden trim in your house, this workshop will be a mighty big help. Learn about the different types of moulding and trim to start with, then see how to prepare your trim/moulding project. Before it's over you'll be using tools and saws with your own hands to get a feel for how to cut trim yourself...including the angle cuts. After this workshop, you'll see just how easy it is for you to do the job yourself.

Author Talk - Tamsin Astor, author of Healthy S.E.X. Habit: Get on Top of Your Life by Managing Your Sleeping, Eating & Exercising
7:00 PM
Tamsin Astor, author of Healthy SEX Habit: Get on Top of Your Life by Managing Your Sleeping, Eating & Exercising will speak at Mac's on Monday, November 13th at 7 p.m.

In this book, Tamsin lays out a simple plan to master your key habits: Sleeping, Eating and eXercising. Tamsin blends her scientific background and awareness (PhD in cognitive neuroscience) with her Yoga, Ayurveda, and Meditation trainings to give a unique approach to mastering these daily habits. Using tools from health and executive coaching, Tamsin provides a plan to help you navigate from a multi-tasking, low-energy, time-deprived existence to one of abundance, nourishment, and fun!

This book touches on:

-The Shoulds & why they don't serve you

-Motivation – different theories to understand it

-Stress and what it's secretly doing to you and why we need a little "good" stress

-Why there isn't one definition of Healthy and a new model for understanding health

-A new way of thinking about Sleeping, Eating & eXercising

-How to think about your relationship with yourself – are you falling into learned helplessness? And what about your relationships with others – are you cultivating enablers or supporters?

Fundamentally, this book gives you a step-by-step guide to organizing your life. How? By creating boundaries and daily rituals so you have the time for what you need to do and what you want to do!

Tamsin Astor:

I do this work because I know how hard life can get. When my son was diagnosed with cancer, when my marriage was crumbling, when my cousin-like-a-brother died of leukemia when we were both 37, when my then-husband walked out 4 times, when I had insomnia and food allergies and found life difficult to live, this work I do with my clients is what saved me, kept me on track and allowed me to hold it together, parent my three kids and not fall apart.
