Get Your Furnace Ready for Winter
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Pity the poor furnace. Sitting down there in the basement, silent from May till September (in a good year), going about its business with little fanfare or appreciation. No wonder when it has a problem it displays it on a weekend! How else can it get your attention? Well, how about showing that old guy some love? How about taking care of it now so it doesn't have to throw a bearing on a cold January Sunday to get you to look at it?

The Home Repair Resource Center is partnering with Reader Heating and Cooling to bring you this fun and informative workshop. You'll learn what noises signal trouble down the road, easy ways to make your furnace happy, and basic care and feeding tips. You'll also learn how to tell when letting it go is the most humane thing to do. And while we're at it, we'll talk about what's new in the world of thermostats.

Residents from any city are welcome! Registration is required, discounts based on residency and income are available. For information, visit our website: www.hrrc-ch.org
