Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga

Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Book, Bio, Blog - how do you want to move your research forward?This class is geared to encourage researchers ready to move from the collecting of data to the writing/communication stage of their family history. Genealogical Committee members who have utilized blogging, journaling and other methods will demonstrate ways you can present your family history. Laptops and other devices are encouraged. Fee $15. Teen Writers Symposium
12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Calling all teenagers! Come meet and be inspired by local authors and explore the art of writing in diverse genres at this Weekend Ink workshop. The afternoon will include a panel discussion and breakout sessions featuring personal narrative writer Charlotte Morgan, realistic fiction author Jeanne Dutton, and journalist Nikki Delamotte. This event is open to teens in grades 6-12.

Celebrate Derby Days at this annual event that benefits RoxArts, a nonprofit organization which sponsors educational programs in the performing and visual arts at Roxboro Elementary and Middle schools.

Cleveland Heights and Pavilion Skating Club Spring Ice Show
7:00 PM
The Pavilion Skating Club and the city of Cleveland Heights will present their Spring Ice Show on May 7-8 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

This year’s theme is “Viva Las Vegas” and will highlight the community’s best skating including Regional, Sectional, and National Competitors.

The featured guest skater is Katie McBeath,a nationally ranked Senior Ladies freestyle competitor

The show will be approximately two hours with an intermission. On May 7th, the show will begin at 7 p.m. and the May 8th show will start at 2 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults and children 10 and older. For seniors and children younger than 10 the admission is $5. For more information, call (216) 691-7373.

Thousands of books and AV materials will be displayed along with many carts of "specials" - items of more value or interest, which are individually priced. This sale we have a large number of books relating to Japan: religion, art, sociology and books in Japanese.

Prices remain the same: Most books, CDs, and DVDs: $1. Children's and teen books: 2/$1.00. Small, "mass market" paper back books: 10/$1.00. Any other items as marked.
