Senior Happenings Program: Several Lives of Severance Town Center in Cleveland Heights

Marian Morton, Ph.D., professor emeritus from History faculty at John Carroll University, with image-packed powerpoint presentations tracing “The Several Lives of Severance Town Center in Cleveland Heights, 1890-2015,” from farmland to several mansions, to indoor mall, to refurbished strip mall, and registering dramatic changes both in the city and the shopping area, brought by the vagaries of history over an eventful century.

As a nonprofit store, volunteers are crucial to our success, helping to keep our overhead cost low, which allows us to purchase more from our artisans.

Join us on Thursday evening to learn about the various volunteer opportunities available, including greeting and interacting with customers, unpacking and checking in orders, assisting with merchandising and displays, helping at off-site events or being on one of our committees or on our board of directors.
