Meeting for new Community Development Block Grant applicants

Applications for 2016 CDBG through the city of Cleveland Heights will be available on June 5, 2015. The applications itself has not changed since last year, but applicants are required to submit it electronically.
This meeting is to discuss the application process for any applicant who wishes to attend. It is not mandatory for 2015 grantees, but all new applicants must attend.

Hospice Volunteer Education
5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Thursdays, June 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Great Lakes Conference Room, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119. Anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others is welcome to attend this training. Most volunteers interested in working with patients attend all four sessions while volunteers in non patient areas and teen volunteers only attend the first class on June 4.RSVP required. Contact the Volunteer Team at 800-707-8922 (6881). Classes are also offered at other times and days throughout the year. Craft Geeks and Comic Book Nerd UNITE. We’ll be using cross stitch to create images from our favorite comic books and cartoons. Come geek out with us and learn a fun new hobby while you’re at it. Materials will be provided. Beginners welcome, for children.
