Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Coventry P.E.A.C.E. garden and playground spring clean-up and work day
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Volunteers are needed to join in and spend as much time as they can spare to help get the garden ready for summer by clearing out the remnants of winter.
Bring your own tools and gloves, or use some that will be on-hand and available.
Beverages and snacks will also be provided for all who volunteer. Everyone’s help is needed to keep Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park a beautiful place.

Rockefeller Park Greenhouse Plant Sale

The Friends of the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, the Gardeners of Greater Cleveland, and the Dahlia and Iris Societies will have their annual plant sale at the Rockefeller Greenhouse on May 14, 15, 16 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) from 10 AM to 4PM.
Choose from a large selection of annuals, tropical plants from the Greenhouse collection, perennials, container plants, dahlia tubers iris corms, and specialized tomatoes. In addition, cuttings, divisions and seedlings from club members available at not-to-be-missed prices. Proceeds support improvements to the Greenhouse and fund the Gardeners of Greater Cleveland’s scholarship for local horticulture students.
This year, the Plant Sale will also include upcycled art created by local artists Cyndi Konopka, Michele Biondo and Linda Zolten Wood. Bird feeders, jewelry, plush toys, stained glass, pottery, home wares.

750 East 88th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, just off Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. There is plenty of free, guarded parking.

Reiki Level 1 Class ~'~ Loving Hands Reiki
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Learn how to give a Reiki treatment to yourself, other people and your pets. You will become “attuned” to the Universal healing energy and learn hand positions for providing treatments. This class is beneficial for people who have chronic health, have pets with chronic health challenges, or want to help provide healing to others.
We will also discuss intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate pendulums, crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. This class is taught in the traditional Usui method. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
(Classes are also available by appointment, just ask!)
