Jewish Federation of Cleveland hosts Community-wide Israel Independence Day Celebration
5:30 PM - 12:00 PM
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is partnering with more than 50 local Jewish organizations and community businesses to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, featuring a full-length concert at 8 p.m. by Israeli sensation The Idan Raichel Project. The annual celebration is a family-friendly event for all ages. It is free and open to the community.

Young children can enjoy arts and crafts, balloon artists, and a photo booth while learning about Israeli life and culture. The whole family can eat delicious kosher fare at the food court, ranging from traditional Israeli favorites like falafel, to American food like chicken strips and french fries. Guests can also participate in a drum circle, learn an Israeli dance, and tour the Israeli marketplace (shuk), where vendors sell beautiful jewelry, exotic spices, and more. Live music before the featured concert will be provided by Yiddishe Cup Klezmer Band.

The Idan Raichel Project has changed the face of Israeli music and become a global music powerhouse, led by producer, keyboardist, and composer Idan Raichel.

Limited guaranteed seating for the concert is available online.
