Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

New Clients: $148.50 for Winter and Fall, $162 for Spring and Summer
Returning Clients: $165 for Winter and Fall, $180 for Spring and Summer

Single drop-in class: $15 (For those who want to try it out before signing up for a session. Please call for space availability before coming to a class)

Monsters in Our Backyard: Tales of the Weird, Wild, and Unexplained

Have kids? Make Lake Erie Ink your first stop this Halloween! Monsters in Our Backyard: Tales of the Weird, Wild, and Unexplained is a workshop for all ages beginning at 10:30 am on Halloween morning, Saturday, October 31. Costumes encouraged!
Guest artist James Renner will read from his book, It Came from Ohio. Participants will write a true or fictional story inspired by the prompt: there's a monster in my backyard.
Renner is a reformed muckraker who now writes novels and short fiction, including It Came from Ohio, True Tales of the Weird, Wild and Unexplained. His new novel, The Great Forgetting, will be published in November. A new work of nonfiction, True Crime Addict, will be released in May, 2016. His true crime stories have been published in the Best American Crime Reporting and Best Creative Nonfiction anthologies. He has contributed to online sites such as Cracked and Boing Boing.
