SNOOP around with CRS at Church of the Saviour
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
SNOOP around with CRS this Summer!

Cleveland Restoration Society is offering an opportunity this summer for members to go behind the scenes to see recently completely preservation projects.

Church of the Saviour UMC on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights has a long history of serving the needs of its community. The long-established congregation, formed in 1875, once met in a one-room schoolhouse. Its current home, designed by architect John W. C. Corbusier, was built in 1928 and creates an imposing physical identity that contributes significantly to the surrounding neighborhood's character. The building has been designated a landmark by the City of Cleveland Heights. After building a historically sensitive new wing, the congregation raised funds to restore the historic building. Now this important sacred landmark is well placed to serve its community for decades to come. The congregation and its project team received a preservation award from CRS and AIA Cleveland at the 2015 Celebration of Preservation for the Restoration of this Sacred Landmark.

All CRS SNOOPs are free for members. Click the link below to register. You must be a member to attend. If you would like to join to attend, there is a membership option included in the event registration link. See you at the church!
