FutureHeights hosts Accessing Capital workshop

Hospice Volunteer Education
5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Mondays and Wednesdays, May 4, 6, 11 and 13 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060. Anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others is welcome to attend this training. Most volunteers interested in working with patients attend all sessions while volunteers in non patient areas and teen volunteers only attend the May 4 class. RSVP required. HRRC Workshop: "Flat Roof Replacement"

You’ll learn to replace a “flat” roof over a porch or shed-type garage using self-adhering (“peel & stick”) modified bitumen roofing, a much easier product to install on a do-self basis.

Cleveland Heights City Council Declares May Bike Month

As part of being a Bicycle Friendly Community, City Council has passed a resolution declaring May as Bike Month in Cleveland Heights each year since 2011. Come and cheer when the resolution passes! (You can leave immediately after the resolution passes.)

Gentle Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Gentle Yoga – This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
