Heights High Annual Alumni Pancake Breakfast
9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
The Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Foundation hosts its 19th annual Pancake Breakfast.

The event is open to the public and will feature tours of Heights High, which will run until 2 p.m. With major renovations planned for the school in the coming months, this will be the last pancake breakfast that will be held at Heights High in its current form.

Proceeds from the all-you-can-eat breakfast will benefit scholarship programs for Cleveland Heights High School seniors. Last year, more than 500 alumni, students, family and friends attended the breakfast.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for children ages 4–12, and $5 for attendees 60 and older.

Close Encounters Concert: Sextets of All Sizes

On Sunday, April 19, Cleveland Orchestra Associate Concertmaster Amy Lee will lead “Sextets of All Sizes" as part of Heights Arts Close Encounters series of chamber music concerts.

Performed in an art-filled, renovated stable in Cleveland Heights’ Herrick Mews, the concert will feature “Transfigured Night,” an early romantic work by Schönberg and Dvořák’s G-major String Quintet, featuring the string bass. Musicians include Amy Lee and Isabel Trautwein, violins, Yu Jin and Joanna Patterson, violas, Keith Robinson, cello, and Kevin Switalski, bass.


TICKET INFORMATION
Concert tickets are available for purchase through Heights Arts or online. Discounted student tickets will be available with proof of enrollment at Heights Arts Gallery, 2175 Lee Road.

Individual concert tickets are $50 general public / $40 members. Advance ticket purchase is necessary as seating is limited. All concert venues are wheelchair accessible.

Collaborative Meal: Soup, Bread, Beauty
4:30 PM
Collaborative Meal is even better than a potluck. We'll make food together, trade table talk about a topic that matters to us while the food cooks, then share the meal.

This month: a children's story about Something Beautiful and a question about whether and how "beauty can save the world." Jesus, Jewish, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist, Seeking, Secular and other voices are all equally welcome, and valued as what they are, around the table.

Come to cook, talk and eat... or talk, eat and and clean up. Learn yummy new recipes... Leave blessed and blessing.
