HRRC Presentation: "Inspecting for Winter Damage"

Now that winter is coming to an end, it’s important to go out and identify any problems that ice and snow may have caused to your house. We’ll talk about the most common issues to look for and discuss how they should be remedied.

Part of Home Repair Resource Center’s workshop series focusing on the needs of seniors. Free and open to residents of all communities. Reservations required; call HRRC’s Senior Repair Specialist Wesley Walker at (216) 381-6100, ext. 22 or email wwalker@hrrc-ch.org. 90-minute in-home repair consultations are also available to residents of Cleveland Heights, University Heights, and South Euclid for a modest fee. Reaching Heights Spelling Bee Practice Round
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Watch the teams flex their spelling muscles as they train with word games and spelling challenges at this practice round. Teams participating in the 24th Annual Reaching Heights Spelling Bee (on April 15) will meet fellow teammates and practice for the actual event. Each team present will be entered into a drawing to win 1 FREE PASS. A team will be entered again if it wins any of the competing games that evening. One team will leave with one pass.

Science & Nature Study Group - Seed Stories: Field Work

Local Storehouses of Life: Protecting Our Natural Plant Heritage, a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Museum’s Herbarium and the Thelma and Kent H. Smith Environmental Courtyard by Jim Bissell, Curator of Botany and Director of Conservation at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Space is limited and registration is required for this program. Registration opens March 18.
