Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.
Class Fees

*** Existing clients: Refer a friend and receive one free class!
New Clients: $148.50 for Winter and Fall, $162 for Spring and Summer
Returning Clients: $165 for Winter and Fall, $180 for Spring and Summer
All Clients: $288 for 2 classes per week (20% discount)
Single drop-in class: $15 (For those who want to try it out before signing up for a session. Please call for space availability before coming to a class)

University Heights Free Paper Shredding and Household Hazardous Waste Collection

University Heights is holding its semi-annual collection of household hazardous waste
and FREE paper shredding. Drop-off is available Friday,
March 6, from 8 a.m. to
4 p.m. and on Saturday,
March 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please note that the City will not accept latex paint cans unless your paint can is empty or the contents are dry.

Featuring Mark Sumerak, best known for Marvel Comics' POWER PACK and the Eisner & Harvey Award nominated FRANKLIN RICHARDS: SON OF A GENIUS; and Brad Ricca, author of Super Boys: The Amazing Adventures of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster - the Creators of Superman.
Workshops on narrative, character creation, dialogue. Costumes encouraged! Meet other young comics enthusiasts. Check out the artists alley, comics sale. Buy lunch on site or bring your own.

Heights Youth Theatre Presents Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
Production to run in new location – Monticello Middle School in Cleveland Heights

Cleveland Heights --- Heights Youth Theatre (HYT) is proud to present Disney’s
The Little Mermaid Jr., at Monticello Middle School in Cleveland Heights (3665 Monticello Boulevard). HYT’s long-standing location, Wiley Middle School, is not
available due to extensive renovations.
Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. will be directed by Pierre-Jacques Brault, with music direction by Stacy Bolton. This enchanting Disney classic tells the story of mermaid princess, Ariel’s dissatisfaction with life under the sea and her curiosity and adventures in the human world. The lyrical score features beloved songs such as; "Part of Your World" and “Under the Sea”.
HYT’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. features 60 talented students in 1st-12th grade, from Cleveland and ten other northeast Ohio suburbs.
Friday, March 6 & 13 at 7pm

As a way to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, Ten Thousand Villages Cleveland has partnered with local photographer Halim Ina to bring you two evening receptions Friday & Saturday, March 6th & 7th in our store. From 5-8pm Friday & Saturday we will have appetizers, wine and most importantly prints for sale to benefit Humana People to People India. Come check out his work, his amazing cause supporting girls' schools in India and how Ten Thousand Villages is doing it's part in supporting women artisans worldwide!
