Quarterly LGBT Book Discussion: Oscar Wilde and a Death of No Importance

Join us for a discussion of the book Oscar Wilde and a Death of No Importance.
In this clever and stylish novel by Gyles Brandreth, Victorian wit Oscar Wilde enlists the help of his friends, Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle and narrator and poet Robert Sherard, to investigate the strange murder of a young artist’s model. This historical mystery paints a vivid and entertaining portrait of the legendary and controversial playwright, as well as the detective he might have been. Part of the Holmes in the Heights series.

5th Annual Roxboro Middle School Spelling Bee

Roxboro Middle School PTA presents the 5th Annual Roxboro Middle School Spelling Bee, taking place in the school auditorium. The highest-ranking 7th or 8th grade student will represent the school at the Cuyahoga County Spelling Bee in March 2015. Friends,family and neighbors are encouraged to attend and cheer for the competitors. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the “rain date” for the bee is December 16.
