Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

Active Yoga - This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students' desires and abilities.

HRRC Workshop: "Installing Replacement Windows"

Instructor: Britt Raburn, Lyndhurst Lumber
Learn how to remove an existing double-hung window and install a “replacement window” in the opening. We’ll discuss how to select a good-quality window and show you how to install it, utilizing strategies to prevent cold drafts from entering the house through the old sash weight cavities.
Open to residents of all communities. Reservations required; call (216) 381-6100, ext. 16 or email workshops@hrrc-ch.org. Be sure to provide a daytime phone number so we can get back to you! Modest materials fee charged (call for details or see www.hrrc-ch.org).

Gentle Yoga - This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
