LET'S RAISE THE ROOF FOR HYT BENEFIT EVENT FOR HEIGHTS YOUTH THEATRE AT ROCKEFELLER's
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Afer 55 years of calling Wiley Middle School "home", HYT will be losing its space in December 2014. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools will now need the space as they work on renovating, closing and realigning schools, over the next few years.

HYT has been so fortunate to have such an exceptional space to work in and train our young actors and stage crew. A theater structure like Wiley is unique in this and surrounding communities with its fly system, lighting, proscenium, scene shop, dressing rooms, and costume and storage areas.

At this time HYT is actively seeking a new space and hopefully permanent venue. We would love to remain in the CH/UH area if possible; if not, as close as we can. Our hope is to find a comparable set-up knowing how inimitable the Wiley space is. Our goal is to continue our mission to create quality live theater that entertains its audiences and encourages and inspires its young artists to grow! We are currently having conversations within the Heights area.

To this end, Let's Raise the Roof for HYT has become an ever more poignant moniker for our annual benefit. One immediate way to aid us in our mission to of remaining a viable community resource is to support our benefit!! We hope that you will join us for food, live music and song from our young actors and a chance to celebrate our wonderful community.

Reservations may be may online through our website or contact heightsyoutheatre@gmail.com for an invitation that will be mailed to you.
