Save $2 when you purchase in advance

On May 4, 1970, National Guardsmen occupying the Kent State University campus fired 67 shots in 13 seconds, leaving four students dead. This tragedy had a profound impact on Northeast Ohio and the nation and catalyzed a change in Americans’ views toward U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Supported by the Ohio Humanities Council, May 4th Voices weaves together 110 interviews with first-person narratives and personal reactions of May 4th and its aftermath, capturing the sense of trauma, confusion, and fear felt by all people regardless of where they stood that day. It will be read at the Museum by playwright David Hassler with a discussion following.

Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage

Yoga and Meditation *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Yoga And Meditation - In this class we focus on the present-moment awareness that comes through a focused yoga practice, and we learn techniques for increasing that focus through meditation. We discuss meditation techniques as we practice our yoga poses, and also learn how to "take our yoga off of our mats" and into the rest of our lives by applying these practices in daily life situations. These techniques help us to stay peaceful, calm, and balanced amid the daily pressures of everyday life. Each class ends with a 10 minute meditation practice. This is a gentle, relaxing class; suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis.
