Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga
6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students' desires and abilities.

Maternal & Pediatric Vegan Nutrition Talk with Free Vegan Dinner

Anya Todd R.D., L.D. is a registered dietitian specializing in vegan nutrition. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Anya is in private practice as well as teaches the Maternal and Pediatric Nutrition course for the Wellness Forum Institute for Health Studies. She also teaches nutrition courses at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Join us for a delicious vegan dinner followed by a presentation on how women can thrive on a plant-based diet from pregnancy and beyond, along with their children.

$5 Cash Yoga Class: Mixed Level Yoga

You can attend this class if you are a beginner or a more advanced yogi. The instructor modifies the practices to be suitable for all students at any level of experience. The practices are drawn from the Foundation A, B and C levels. Alternatives are recommended to customize your class experience for more or less challenge, depending on what you feel and need at the moment.
This is a great class if you want to “test the waters” of more challenging practices in a safe and supportive environment, while having the option to return to the basics whenever necessary.
Suitable for all regardless of fitness level, health or age.

Community Update Meeting: Cleveland Hts City Council Move to Amend Resolution
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
- Learn where Cleveland Heights City Council stands on passing a resolution or placing on the ballot a initiative declaring an end to corporate "personhood" and money is speech.
- Help develop a community strategy for communicating with council or launching a citizen initiative to educate citizens, pressuring council and passing a resolution.
More than 100 communities across Ohio and the nation have already passed resolutions or citizen initiatives. More than 100 others are working this year to do the same. Vermont and Alaska have passed state resolutions. It's time Cleveland Heights joins this growing national movement.
