Bring $5 cash and improve your flexibility, strength, and stamina, and learn basic breathing and stress relief techniques. The practices in Foundation A can help relieve and prevent degenerative conditions like arthritis, high blood pressure and back problems.
Suitable for all regardless of fitness level, health conditions or age. Teachers will provide modifications for your unique needs in this non-competitive environment.

Yoga and Meditation *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

- In this class we focus on the present-moment awareness that comes through a focused yoga practice, and we learn techniques for increasing that focus through meditation. We discuss meditation techniques as we practice our yoga poses, and also learn how to "take our yoga off of our mats" and into the rest of our lives by applying these practices in daily life situations. These techniques help us to stay peaceful, calm, and balanced amid the daily pressures of everyday life. Each class ends with a 10 minute meditation practice. This is a gentle, relaxing class; suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis.

The Board of Education of the Cleveland Heights – University Heights City School District will hold its Regular Meeting at the Delisle Educational Options Center, 14780 Superior Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, 44118, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
At this Regular Meeting the Board will consider a number of matters, including the initial resolutions required to submit the question of a school facilities bond issue to the voters.

Yoga and Reiki *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

– Both yoga and Reiki provide physical improvement, relaxation, stress relief and mental clarity; so they are natural complements to each other. As we flow through our yoga poses we discuss the principles of these two healing paths, and weave the philosophies into our practice. We focus on balancing our energy on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. We end the class with a Reiki treatment during our Savasana pose. This is an active level class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience or those who are already fairly physically fit. No previous Reiki experience is necessary. Every third class is a slow-flowing Yin Yoga class, which helps to open joints and targets connective tissue. The slow pace allows us to have more intensive Reiki treatments throughout the class. The Yin classes help to balance the Yang energy of the flowing classes.

Guru Purnima is the special day to pay our deep gratitude to all the enlightened teachers or Masters who dispel the darkness and guide us into the unknown dimensions.
We will celebrate through havan (fire ceremony) and kirtan (call and response singing of mantras).
