Active Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students' desires and abilities.

Whether you want to install new baseboards, chair rails, or crown molding – or just replace a damaged section – we’ll show you how to measure, cut, and attach several types of wood molding commonly found in older homes.

Modern living often causes our core postural muscles to be weak, tight or unbalanced, putting undue strain on the vertebra. This class focuses on stretching, strengthening and balancing these core muscles, developing core strength and flexibility, which can prevent and heal many back problems. Breathing practices and guided meditations are included to help release deeply held tensions, further relieving existing back problems.

We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry.
