FREE to new students (Those who have never to been to Atma Center before, or have not attended class for one year): These classes introduce different types of meditation and provide ideas for developing individual practice. The theory and technique of beginning pratyahara (sensory withdrawal) and dharana (concentration) are taught.

FREE TO NEW STUDENTS (Those who have never to been to Atma Center before, or have not attended class for one year): Explore the unique Pawanmuktasana series, which increase flexibility, core strength, and dynamic energy. The practices in Foundation A can help relieve and prevent degenerative diseases and conditions like arthritis, high blood pressure and back problems. A key part of this level is developing physical and mental awareness in ways which can be used on and off the yoga mat.
Suitable for beginners regardless of fitness level, health conditions or age; experienced practitioners who wish to improve their technique; PreNatal students; and those with injuries or restrictions.

City of Cleveland Heights' Strategic Development Plan Public Hearing

In August 2009, the Cleveland Heights Planning Commission embarked on an update of the Citys Strategic Development Plan, most recently updated in 1993. Members of the Planning Commission felt it was time to revisit the plan and reprioritize as needed. The Planning Commission, in several work sessions, and with City staff help, made recommendations to City Council in the form of the 2010 Strategic Development Plan. The plan focuses on specific challenges and opportunities and has been prepared as a guide for action for the Planning Commission, Administration, City Council and all who invest and develop in Cleveland Heights.
This document provides perspective on how best to plan for, encourage and prioritize future development and community initiatives in conjunction with private investments. As a management strategy, the plan is envisioned to:
Establish goals and tactics;
Identify community and development issues;
Prioritize these issues;
Provide a vehicle for progress measurement and process monitoring; and
Establish a time line and initiatives to move the city forward.
