LEADING LADIES AT HEIGHTS HIGH MIND, BODY & SOUL WELLNESS FAIR

As you know, childhood and teenage obesity is on the rise across the nation. It is with that thought in mind that the Leading Ladies at Heights High will be hosting their 2nd annual Mind, Body & Soul Wellness Fair. The mission of the Leading Ladies is to aide young ladies in the development of positive and powerful attitudes that will allow them to develop into resourceful and resilient adults.
Our goal for the Mind, Body & Soul Wellness Fair is to utilize community resources in an engaging and interactive atmosphere to ensure that our parent and student community are informed consumers who are making wise nutritional and activity choices. Also, because we desire to reach more people, this year we will collaborate with the CHHS Student Council and the Foreign Exchange Club.
Activities will include: Cardio Workouts, Give Aways, Healthy Eating & Nutrition Seminar with Chef Eric Wells, Blood Pressure Screenings, Relaxation Techniques, Raffles, Food & Family Bonding. ALL TEENS WITH AN ADULT ARE WELCOME! Bring a healthy potluck food item to share.
