Coventry Village Street Arts Fair #2
In light of their success, many crowd favorites will return again this year.
Vital Mines will perform on the main stage on Thursday, June 18 while Blue Lunch, a headliner from some of the original Fairs, returns to headline on July 16.
Cleveland Jazz Project and the Progressive Arts Alliance Student Allstars return for both the June 18 and July 16 Fairs appearing in various locations throughout the District. Guitarist Gaetano Letizia & The Underworld Band will add to the mix at both Fairs playing blues, funk and Latin Jazz.
Cleveland Museum of Art returns with family-friendly art projects and its highly visual “oversized puppets.” Street performers Aaron Bonk and John Flower will join the ever-popular Flower Clown amazing families and young children with their extraordinary talents. Local magicians will also make appearances working their way through the crowd.
Mac’s Backs will bring Harvey Pekar and his wife, Joyce Brabner to the June Fair and Michael I. Samuelak, author of the children’s book, A is for Africa to the July Fair.
Many of the Coventry restaurants will continue their tradition of offering outdoor dining while Coventry merchants will feature sidewalk sales. Over 50 local artists, farmers and vendors will be featured at each of the events.
